What the app reads on your phone, and why
The app uses this data only on your phone, to choose the apps that the Widget shows.
- Your position, also in the background. The app finds out when you enter or leave one of your Places. It must do this when the app is closed, because the Widget changes on the home screen.
- The Wi-Fi state. A Trigger can wait until the phone connects to a Wi-Fi network, or disconnects from it. To let you choose a network, the app reads the names of the networks in range. It keeps the names of the networks that the phone connected to.
- Your Bluetooth devices. A Trigger can wait until the phone connects to a device, for example your car. To let you choose a device, the app reads the list of paired devices. It keeps the name and the address of the device that you choose.
- Your calendar events. A Calendar Trigger can wait for an event that is in progress. The app reads the names of your calendars and their accounts. It reads the title, the time, and the status of the events. It does not change them.
- Which apps have notifications. If you turn on Notification dots, the app shows a dot on the apps that have notifications. The app reads only which app sent each notification. It does not read the text.
- Your installed apps. You choose your Pins from the installed apps, their shortcuts, and the links that you type. The app also counts which apps you open from the Widget, to fill the Free Slots.
Google Play services
Google Play services gives the position of the phone to the app, and tells the app when you enter or leave a Place. Aptrow itself sends nothing to Google. The Google privacy policy applies to Google Play services.
Your copies
- Export and Import. Export writes your data to a file that you choose. Import reads a file that you choose. You decide where the file goes.
